Question Time: Who is the worst coach in MLS history?

Dave and I always like to play this game in the press box at RFK where we try to figure out the worst XI in MLS history… the all-bust XI, and so on. In that vein, I ask you, the learned audience of this blog to tell me who you think the worst coach in MLS history is. The poll is below, please feel free to comment as well.

  1. I’ll start the conversation by saying I picked Andrulis, 1) Because I covered him closely for two years and really got to see the suck first-hand. 2) I’ve never seen a coach who wanted to do well be less intellectually equipped to reach that goal. Greg simply had no idea how to coach a professional team.

  2. Who was the guy that coached NY and maybe LA, as well, Octavio Zambrano? Something like that. Whoever that guy was, I picked Other in his honor.

  3. I voted for Greg, mainly because I got to observe you observing him firsthand. Plus the pink slipping he got was epic.
